Mercury transit across the Sun.

Although mercury has been visible in some areas its just been  too light to see anything in Shetland. Also we have a high hill so by the time it might have been visible with Venus and the Moon it has dipped behind the landscape

I was fortunate to photograph Mercury back in 2016 as it moved across the Sun.

The next time this will happen I hope to catch it again  as it occurs on the 13 November 2032, so only 12 years to go

Never take a chance with your eyes, always use a Solar Filter, you will not be able to tell your eyes are damaged until its too late.

Still no news on when the Solar Scope will be dispatched will chase them up
